not use if the poster of " 白蛇 伝 - Hakujaden "(The Legend of White Snake, 1958) to open this post. The animated film in question is a starting point for many things. First, a certain way of doing animation, Toei Doga had to build an industry in this cartoon. The production effort was enormous. Pitted a few numbers, only to realize the scale of investments and productive effort. " 白蛇 伝 - Hakujaden " cost in 1958 forty million yen, has kept busy for 20 months a staff of 13,590 people who designed well 214,514 drawings. To give you an additional yardstick, no other Japanese cartoon in fifty years since the release of " 白蛇 伝 - Hakujaden " there was not only closer. Not even " アキラ, Akira " (1988) that cost a billion and then hundred million yen , he succeeded and a masterpiece like " ルパン 三 世 カリオストロ の 城 - Rupan Sansei: Cagliostro no Shiro "(Lupin III: Castle of Cagliostro, 1979) Hayao Miyazaki who earned the prestigious" Ofuji Noburo "to" Mainichi Film Concours in 1980, consists of little more than 40.000 drawings ! It is obviously to make the number of frames a benchmark, but to make you realize that such magnificence is not more productive had it. " 白蛇 伝 - Hakujaden " is also a starting point for the Japanese animated film because this movie has a good record. Being the first Japanese animated film to be both color and sound. After this, due, one of digressions about his starting point The theme of the meeting to be held Saturday, April 26th at the Sala a Cartoon "Napoli Comicon at 20.00. The title of the meeting, you can still read the post below, is "Forget and untraceable - Meeting cultural hard to find Japanese animation." Why this title? The answer is simple and is the daughter of the comparison I made of the market "Italy" anime with that of other foreign markets. How sappamo all, Italy was a kind of mega tank where coinfluiti, bought with a "boxes of rights," an inordinately souls. But what differentiates us from other markets is the fact that, in its entirety, a set of watertight compartments where everyone pulls water to his mill. It would be like being in a museum and look stubbornly one picture, a little 'how to be in the Louvre and look only at "La Gioconda". The result is that very few, who are not "fans of animation," they are interested in those works that have shaped the history of Japanese animation, or that represent experiments that are difficult to reconcile with the "loyalty" of the public towards the characters or a brand. Which is a shame. This meeting aims to simply show that 8 films for one reason or another in Italy have become "unavailable" or simply "forgotten", but putting them in comparison with some production companies, as the TV schedule and publishing on DVD. There is no answer to the question "Is there room for these souls current Italian market? . Answering this question is fundamental to building a market for animation fans who are "aware of what they saw, what they're selling and what they see in the future."

Teatro Puccini - Inauguration of exhibition on "The desert of the Tartars"

I open this blog to create a sort of mirror of my main blog is: Strange Ideas Brain .

Yesterday, April 18, 2008, was inaugurated in the Foyer of the Teatro Puccini in Florence, a small exhibition devoted to works created by students of comics, led by Alberto Pagliaro International School of Comics Florence. The drawings were made on the basis of the script created by Marco Rastrelli who drew three different sequences from the novel "The Desert of the Tartars".

Well guys I have to tell you that I did a little 'effect of seeing all those comic panels drawn by my script, I had ... I do not know how to explain ... Almost afraid of? I can not define the feeling I was feeling. I have also done an article on the Republic. From the way seems to have joined the show to be all mine.

This is a small movie that I shot with my Cybershot foyer of Puccini.
